    Hi,

    by default, Windows runs TRIM for SSD weekly. In some situations (e.g., regular backup is configured) Windows may need to defragment system drive regardless of its type. In this case Windows defragments SSD monthly, doing this gently enough.

    One may check these operations in Application journal - see Defrag events 258. Event description says "optimisation" or "defragmentation".
