mail recall

Question

Hi, I have a question and hopefully someone could answer me.

I just sent an email on behalf of my manager and saw that there's a mistake in the subject so I recall it, edited the subject and resend almost immediately. My mail address is within an organization.

I did not receive any recall report. Will my manager receive the recall report?

The mail was sent to people outside our organization, and they have a hotmail and an organization mail (companyname.com.au)

Given my mail was sent to the above type of address, was the recall successful?
