Blank existing word documents after update

Hi there,

I updated my microsoft word and now when I open a preexisting word document, the document is blank. When I open a new document I am not able to type. Please help!

    What version of Office did you use? Did all Word documents have this problem after updating? I suggest you try to repair Office application and check the result: repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b

    An Office repair would be the first line of attack.

    If you are running a subscription version, I recommend that you verify that your subscription is active.
