Hello,

I am working on trying to get Anonymous Access configured in my environment but continue to get 401 Unauthorized error once I remove the site/url from Intranet/Trusted Sites zone. I did notice that when I try http://mywebsite.domain.local it actually does bring up the popup box but I am wanting to allow users without a domain account to access the site via the Anonymous Access. I've tried different alternate access mapping configurations but no luck. Do I need to make tweaks within the Windows Authentication option? Thnx in advance

    Hi @Dez-4361,

Anonymous Access is not related to alternate access mapping, and there is no additional configuration about the Windows Authentication.

Please go to site settings> site collection features>Deactivate Limited-access user permission lockdown mode feature, which will prevent anonymous users from accessing.
