After playing with IP and network settings, I was now able to get rid of the error just for another to take its place. I now get a "Unauthorized Access" error, despite following all steps to generate the proper sas key. I am wondering if this is an internal iot hub issue or further complications of port 8883 not being completely accessible.
MQTT Look Up Error: Siemens Cloud Connect 712 With Azure Iot Hub
I have been trying to connect my Siemens Cloud Connect device to the IOT hub. I have been following the documentation provided here:
I have tried and restarted from scratch several times, and I have always ended up with a look up error. The diagnostics of the device says there is an established cloud connection, but also gets the following error.
[ERROR]: Connecting to MQTT broker host=Demo-Hub1.azure-devices.net; port=8883: Lookup error.
My hub is named "Demo-Hub1", and I have also made sure port 8883 is open on my network.
Does anyone know why I am getting this error?

2022-02-16T16:19:18.66+00:00 @Spencer Ignatieff "Unauthorized Access" could occur for multiple reasons. Could you please confirm if you have required permissions to create resources such as Azure IoT Hub in the subscription? Which authentication type you have chosen while adding a device?
