I would like to config local powerDNS (ubuntu) as DNS forwarder in DNS Server. I created two servers and tried configuring each other but it doesn't work. When I added the IPaddress of PowerDNS server, I recorded the packets by network monitor tools. The result was displayed in network monitor tools as: 176247-packets.png

PowerDNS: 192.168.159.132

DNS Server: 192.168.159.130

The erros result was displayed DNS Forwarder as (An unknown error occurred while validating the server): 176285-dns-forwader.png

If you need me to show any information please comments. Please help me and give me advice.

Thanks

    Hi @Dungg

The issue looks like a configuration issue on the powerdns server.

Have a look at this post https://serverfault.com/questions/697170/trying-to-send-a-query-to-powerdns-and-expected-result-not-being-returned

    Hi @Dungg

This issue could be caused by the incorrect DNS cache. I suggest you run the command and see if that helps you resolve this issue.

    Net stop netlogon
    net start netlogon
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns

    Hope this resolves your Query!!
