I have recently installed SharePoint 2019 with single server role. There are 2 web applications as of now
i.e. One if for Central Administration (Created during installation) and 2nd one is created by me.
After few days, I cannot see Central Administration service in the Central Admin.
I ran install-spservice, but still it is not visible.
So should I run the product config wizard. And if yes then will it affect my existing web applications and site collections under that?
Will new Central Admin Web application and new url will get generated after running the config wizard?
Would you tell me whether your issue has been resolved or have any update ?

Per my test, I cannot reproduce this issue in your case.
Could you tell me more about the Central Administration Service not available in SharePoint Central Admin (or screenshot)?

To be more clear. I cannot see Central Administration Services when I navigate to manage services in server.
Please find the attached screenshot.
Please check the following to troubleshooting this issue:
1.You could run the following command in SharePoint Management Shell as an admin to check whether it has CA service:
Get-SPServiceInstance | Where-Object {$_.TypeName -eq 'Central Administration'}
2.Try to restart the "SharePoint Timer service" and "SharePoint Administration service". Check if it would work.
3.If above doesn’t work, try to run the configuration wizard, it would not affect your existing web applications and site collections. And it would not generate new Central Admin Web application unless you delete and recreate one.

Thanks for your response. Please find the below output for the troubleshooting points mentioned above by you.
Point1: I have tried by running command in SharePoint Management Shell as an admin to check whether it has CA service and output is none. It showed no service as output.
Point2: I tried by restarting the timer and SharePoint administration service but no luck.
Point3: When I started the Product Configuration Wizard as Admin and started clicking next on the screen, I got the screen (attached) which is asking me to specify the port number. But I already have a central admin web application which is already configured at a specific port. Can you please let me know, what to do next on this screen and which option to choose (i.e. either to specify a new port or enter the port on which the central admin site is already configured)
Please, select the Specify port number check box and type a number (of your choosing e.g. 5000, 1337 ) as the port number for the SharePoint Central Administration web application, and then select NTLM under security settings and press next button.
You could refer to this article SharePoint Server: Products Configuration Wizard to help you finish the SharePoint Products Configuration Wizard settings.

Thanks for your response. I have few queries regarding the same.
If I select a new port number which is different from the port number on which my current central admin web application is configured.
Question1: So, the current Central admin web application with previous port number will get removed?
Question2: What if I enter the port number on which the central admin web application is already configured?
Question3: Will existing web application and site collections inside it, get affected after completing this configuration wizard?
For your questions, I make the following answers:
1: Re-running SharePoint Product and configuration wizard won't delete the previous CA web application.
2: If you select the previous port number, re-running SharePoint Product Configuration wizard could repair and update whole SharePoint environment
3: Couldn't affect the existing Web applications and Site Collections, when running SharePoint Product Configuration Wizard. Because running SharePoint Product Configuration Wizard won't delete farm/web application/site collection data.
All in all, I suggest you best to entry the previous port number.

hello, looks like something odd happened on your instance. If it is possible it will be simpler to install SP from scratch - you will have less problems in future. (When I configure dev env with single server role on VM image I usually create snapshots after each significant installation step - in order to be able to rollback to it if some step will fail. It saves a lot of time). Otherwise you have to try reinstall Central administration using Configuration wizard as it was suggested.
