Hi,
I own an Acer Chromebook but work with Microsoft Office and use the Word app; I am trying to find a way on the chromebook to convert my docs to pdfs while still showing the tracked changes in the PDF. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, @Mark Oliver
    Welcome to the Q&A Forum.
Are you using ChromeOS? ChromeOS does not support Office desktop applications for the time being. You can only use Office for web. Office for web does not support Document showing markup when saving as PDF.
If not ChromeOS system,, you can refer to this link: save-or-convert-to-pdf-or-xps-in-office-desktop-apps . The following is an example of a Windows system:

    1. Open Word, and click Track Changes in the Review tab to open the Track Changes feature.
    2. On the File tab, click Export, click Create PDF/XPS Document.
    3. The system prompts you to select the location to save as, click the option function in the dialog box, and check the Document showing markup. Example screenshots are as follows:

I was trying to figure out how to do this and all of the instructions that I've seen online do not work for people working from a Mac. But I finally figured it out! In Word when you're on the Home tab (on a Mac), on the right side there is an option "Create and Share PDF" Click that and it will ask you if you want to create a Rich PDF. Click yes and voila! It will show your tracked changes.
