I created a meeting invite via iCal4j API (Java, package net.fortuna.ical4j.model) and set up my email address as the Organizer; Both meeting Organizer and meeting attendee use Outlook desktop client to check emails, etc.
Here is the flow:

  1. The meeting organizer gets an meeting event email in Outlook.
  2. The attendee(s) get the meeting invite in Outlook.
  3. The attendee(s) accept the meeting invite.
  4. The organizer receives the Accepted response from the attendee(s).
    So far so good.
    However,
  5. When the organizer checks the Meeting Track tab in Outlook, it shows None under response. It means that the meeting event doesn't detect the Response from the attendee(s).
  6. I also check my (Organizer) Outlook setting: File>Options>Mail>Under tracking and make sure the followings are checked:

It seems that there is no way to track the responses to the meeting invite in Outlook.

Is there a way to track attendees' responses to the meeting invite in Outlook?

    Hi @Zhong66 ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Its possible that the person you sent the meeting invite accepted the invite but chose "Do not send a response". This will cause tracking to show no response. This is the current expected behavior in Outlook.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
What I can do for you at present is to submit a suggestion for you, and you can also make a suggestion via this link: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/e2f8fa46-8601-ed11-a81b-6045bd864d4f
    Thanks for your understanding.
