RHEL Bring Your Own Subscription option for Azure VM

Question

In Azure , we already have Azure Update Management system for updating the security patches on the Azure Linux VMs

I have only 2 Azure VMs running on Linux.

1) when we use RHEL Bring your own subscription (BYOS) for Azure , what advantages do we get . Does BYOS for RHEL also give advantages given by Azure Update Manager ?
2) Specifically how does BYOS help in licensing ?
3) What is the pricing for RHEL Bring your own subscription model ?
4) RHEL BYOS gives public IP for Azure VM . Can we have private IP for Azure VM and still use RHEL's BYOS

RHEL images currently available in Azure Marketplace support either bring-your-own-subscription (BYOS) (Red Hat Gold Image) model or pay-as-you-go licensing models.
Standard support policies apply to VMs created from these images.
The VMs provisioned from Red Hat Gold Images don't carry RHEL fees associated with RHEL pay-as-you-go images.
The images are unentitled. You must use Red Hat Subscription-Manager to register and subscribe the VMs to get updates from Red Hat directly.
It's possible to switch from pay-as-you-go images to BYOS using the Azure Hybrid Benefit. However it's not possible to switch from an initially deployed BYOS to pay-as-you-go billing models for Linux images. To switch the billing model from BYOS to pay-as-you-go, you must redeploy the VM from the respective image.

2) Specifically how does BYOS help in licensing ?

If you already have a Redhat subscription, you would want to use that because you already have RHEL license, instead of using a PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) RHEL marketplace image and incurring double charges (You are paying for RHEL license that comes with PAYG image, even though you already own a RedHat subscription which comes with RHEL license, basically you end up paying double).
Customers who opt for PAYG usually do not have a Redhat subscription. If you already have a Redhat subscription, you will want to use that itself.
You're required to enable your existing Red Hat subscriptions for Red Hat Cloud Access before you can use them in Azure. Access to these images is granted automatically when your Red Hat subscriptions are enabled for Cloud Access and meet the eligibility requirements.

3) What is the pricing for RHEL Bring your own subscription model ?

There are several available. You will have to check it for yourself with RedHat.

4) RHEL BYOS gives public IP for Azure VM . Can we have private IP for Azure VM and still use RHEL's BYOS.
