I have been looking for some documentation or guidance on using an existing Linux Certificate Authority as the root CA for Windows Server AD CS. Is this possible? If so, anyone have any documentation or white papers on planning and implementing said configuration?

    Hello DamianYates-0076,

Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

Based on the description, do you mean you have an existing Linux CA on the Linux server and now your want to migrate this Linux CA from the Linux server to one Windows server?

If so, I am sorry, after my research, I can not find such related documentations or links.

But I think you can try to do test in your lab and to check if it is possible.

And you can try asking such questions on the Linux forums to see if there are any engineers from Linux who can provide you with helpful information.

Meanwhile, we are very much looking forward to technicians with such experience answering your questions in this thread.

Here is a document about migrating ADCS from one Windows server to the other Windows server.
