Microsoft.Data.Odbc vs System.Data.Odbc

Question:
Does anyone know if
System.Data.Odbc is backwards compatible with code that was using
Microsoft.Data.Odbc?

the devlead for System.Data):
Except for the
namespace, they should be the same.
