Just finished the first in a series of talks about mobile development ("TechTalk") here in Germany, and again I noticed that one of the things which fascinate people most is a small little tool called "Remote Display Control" that I use for demos and such, and that lets you view and control your Pocket PC (and Smartphone, with some usability restrictions :) on your desktop (via ActiveSync). It originally was part of the Pocket PC PowerToys, but isn't listed there any more. Thanks to Google, though, I found it here, so go and get it before it vanishes for good... :-)

Hi Frank!
I'm afraid your mixing up some things ;)
The "Remote Display Control" power toy (which I find worth giving the "best windows mobile tool" award) is part of the Windows Mobile Developer Power Toys (which are separate from the regular Power Toys you linked) { confusing, isn't it? }.
So it's not vanishing, but living in:

Neno,
finally someone who knows his stuff... :-)
Yes, you're right, I must have been a little confused after a long night of talking and demoing - so thanks for the clarification.
Cheers (cu in Bremen?),
