My friends at Microsoft Germany just sent me a link to this very favorable review of Windows Home Server in Chip, a leading tech publication. My German is pretty rusty (read: non-existent) but I'm told the article says Home Server is "strong, upcoming software" and that it is "pleasingly simple....installation and use is child's play."
Also, as many know, Home-Server-Blog.de is a very active blog in Germany.

Hi, Apologies this is not the right context for this post, but I did not find a "Contact Me" option on the blog and hence am commenting here. I wanted to delete my old backups and I have tried every option possible with no dice. :( I also posted a reply to this thread: http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsHomeServer/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1811632&SiteID=50 Wondering if there is an update you can provide? Thanks.Anonymous

Looks like Siemens is set to deliver a Windows Home Server (see link below). But at $690 for the lowest cost unit its far too expensive for the home market. http://www.engadget.com/2007/07/12/fujitsu-siemens-scaleo-home-server-to-arrive-at-ifa/
