Daylight Saving time Update for Windows Mobile now released!

I've blogged a number of times about the Daylight Saving Time changes.

Well we (Microsoft) have just released updates for WIndows Mobile devices.

The following devices can be updated:

Windows Mobile 2003

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition; or

Windows Mobile 5.0

The updates can be applied either via a PC or directly on a device.  They can also be applied on any device independent of the OEM or Mobile Operator.

You can find more details about the updates and download them HERE

Jason - blog looks good, useful source of info... However, this doesn't seem to apply to Europe, as it's either the US or Australia, as far as I can make out. Please could you clarify? Many thanks

The changes to the daylight saving time dates only apply to the US and Canada. However, any person that has dealings with the US or is likely to visit the US would do well to install this update, so they know what the actual time is in the US.

Justin - Chris is 100% correct - the DST changes are the US really but if you work with the US or have a global responsibility then they will be important

So, does it actually support Australia? Or is it only US and Canada?  I live in WA and they recently went to DST.  ALbeit only for a 3 year trial, but its unlikely to not be made permanent. The official workaround is to set my clock to another timezone.....
