Orange launch sat nav solution

Orange have recently launched an Off-Board Satellite Navigation solution.   Off-board means that none of the maps are stored on the device.

This has obvious advantages and disadvantages:

Pro's

  • You always have up to date maps!
  • No Storage Card required

Con's

  • No connectivity - no maps :(

In terms of coverage, Sat Nav from Orange includes full mapping for the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands for no extra charge.

Real-time road traffic information is available for an additional annual charge of £27.59 ex VAT.
Maps for all of Europe are also available for an additional annual charge of £27.59 ex VAT.
