One of the premier free, code-camp style events is SQL Saturday. Operating under the aegis of the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS), SQL Saturdays are organized by the local community with a focus on area speakers providing a variety of technical sessions on topics like SQL Server, business intelligence, and developing data focused applications. Not a weekend goes by that there isn’t one (or more) of these events somewhere worldwide, and over the next two weeks we have two in the Northeast – Rochester and Boston (Waltham). Thanks to Matt Slocum and Slava Kokaev, the organizers of those events, respectively.
