Beschreibung

der dreitägiger Workshop "Windows Server 2012 R2: Hyper-V" liefert Best Practice durch theoretische Grundlagen und praktischen Übungen, die notwendig für das Design, die Bereitstellung, das Anpassen und Verwalten von Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V-Umgebungen sind. In diesem Workshop werden die wichtigsten Features von Hyper-V-Rollen für Windows Server 2012, auf Grundlage der Version R2, erläutert. Architektur-Konzepte werden nur soweit erläutert, wie sie zum Verständnis für Installation, Verwaltung und Problembehandlung der Hyper-V-Umgebung notwendig sind.

Agenda

Module 1: Introduction to Hyper-V
Covering topics in architecture, how to create and delete VMs, VMs components and Integration Services. Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V requirements, Hyper-V specifications summary, to include Physical and Virtual Processor, Memory, Network and Storage, Installation using GUI, and using PowerShell.

Module 2: Core networking and storage for Hyper-V
NIC Teaming and Hyper-V configurations, Network features (DHCP guard, Router guard, PVLAN, port ACLs, port mirroring, per VM QoS, MAC spoofing), the Hyper-V Switch and Virtual Networks, Network Virtualization, Dynamic Ports groups and Ethernet Resource pools, SR-IOV, VMQ and RSS. In storage we cover the new VHDX format capabilities, Hyper-V over SMB. Using permissions and Constrained delegation on SMB shares. Improvements in Hyper-V Snapshots and online merging, Fiber Channel support inside VMs, Live Storage Migration, Integration with Storage Spaces, and ODX support.

Module 3: New and Updated features
Shared-nothing Live Migration, the improvements to Dynamic Memory, Hyper-V Replicas, Migration scenarios and backups.

Module 4: Hyper-V and Failover Clustering
Details installing and configuring Failover Clusters, the Improvements on CSV volumes, how to configure CSV disks, using Scale-Out file Servers for SMB and Hyper-V, the improvements to NeFT, Configuring the VM Role, Configuring simultaneous Live Migration of VMs, The new Dynamic Quorum model, Cluster Validation Wizard enhancements for Hyper-V, setting VM Priority, VM monitoring, and the Hyper-V Replica Broker.

Module 5: Performance Counters and troubleshooting tools
Covering VM resource metering, CPU, Memory, Network and Memory Counters and working with the Hyper-V and Windows Event logs.
