Another reference to Tim Anderson as his sign-off in this post, "How did we fix computers pre-Google?" also had my smiling. Of course I would substitute the lovely Live Search instead but I know what he means. Altavista maybe? I can no longer remember the names of the first search engines I used. But he's right, I've spent enough time over the last few days searching for things like "lenovo t61p drive bay" to know that.
