While we're on the subject of EDB.... there is one thing EDB does not allow that CEDB did: creating properties (columns) on the fly. With EDB, once you specify your list of properties for the database, you can't change them. Is this important to anyone?

My companies app makes column's on the fly. But we use SQLCE. will this feature still be avalible in sqlce for wm05? - Anonymous

I liked the old functionality because we could easily add fields to existing databases that now is more difficult. - Anonymous

hello i am creating a simple application in C++ MFC ,smart device developement where i am getting error in creation of database with more than 8 fields ... Is there any one who has come across similar issues .... this issue comes with smartphones.....and with pocketpc it works
