Attempts to export the current key in the PEM-encoded X.509 SubjectPublicKeyInfo format into a provided buffer.

Parameters

destination: Span<Char>

The character span to receive the PEM-encoded X.509 SubjectPublicKeyInfo data.

charsWritten: Int32

When this method returns, contains a value that indicates the number of characters written to destination. This parameter is treated as uninitialized.

Returns

Boolean

true if destination is big enough to receive the output; otherwise, false.

Exceptions

NotImplementedException

An implementation for TryExportSubjectPublicKeyInfo(Span<Byte>, Int32) has not been provided.

CryptographicException

The key could not be exported.

Remarks

A PEM-encoded X.509 SubjectPublicKeyInfo will begin with -----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY----- and end with -----END PUBLIC KEY-----, with the base64 encoded DER contents of the key between the PEM boundaries.

          The PEM is encoded according to the IETF RFC 7468 "strict"
          encoding rules.
