Upgrade your Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site Project to Visual Studio 2005

This topic describes the steps that you must follow to convert your Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site project to Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008. For more information about how to upgrade Visual C# projects, see https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=6783 on the Microsoft MSDN Web site.

To upgrade your Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site project to Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008

  1. Start Visual Studio 2005 or Visual Studio 2008.

  2. On the File menu, point to Open, point to Project/Solution, locate C:\InetPub\wwwroot\CS2002StarterSite\CS2002StarterSite.sln, and then click Open.

  3. On the Welcome to the Visual Studio Conversion Wizard page, click Next.

  4. On the Choose Whether to Create a Backup page, click Next.

  5. On the Ready to Convert page, click Finish.

  6. In the Conversion Complete dialog box, click Close.
