Hello Borja Breña,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
We sincerely apologize for the delay in bringing your topic to this forum. Regarding your problem, unfortunately MS Bookings currently does not support the exact functionality you're looking for, where buffer times are considered for availability but do not appear as blocked time on your calendar.
Here's how buffer times work in MS Bookings:
- Buffer times are set on the Service details page in Bookings. You can enable buffer times before and/or after appointments to ensure you have enough time to prepare or transition between appointments1.
- When buffer times are set, they are included in the overall service duration. This means that if you set a 30-minute appointment with a 15-minute buffer before and after, the system will block a 1-hour slot on your calendar1.
- Customers will see availability based on the total duration, including buffer times, but they will not see the buffer times themselves1.
While this setup ensures that you have the necessary buffer time between appointments, it does result in the entire duration being blocked on your calendar. This is different from how Calendly handles buffer times, where only the actual appointment time is blocked on the calendar.
If you need to manage your calendar more flexibly, you might consider manually adjusting your calendar entries or using a different scheduling tool that offers the specific functionality you need.
