Bill G delivers a “buzzing” presentation

Following on from Phil’s post on presentations, I was interested to read this recent review of Bill Gate’s presentation at the TED conference.

It’s got some great pointers on making presentations memorable (keeping your ideas – and slides -- simple is top of the list) – but you don’t get much more memorable than releasing mosquitoes into the audience…

“Malaria, of course, is transmitted by mosquitoes. I brought some here so you can experience this. I'll let these roam around the auditorium. There's no reason why only poor people should have the experience!”
