Applikationen hjälper dig att träna på att identifera toner, ackord och skalor. Jag kände att jag själv behövde en sådan här app för att ta igen de 10 års-pianolektioner jag tog utan att bry mig om att lära mig musikteori.

Följande är en beskrivning av appen på engelska:

Whether you are a music theory geek who wants to show off your skills or a tone deaf hippie, this is the app for you! Musical Ear will train you to better identify some of the major chords and scales used in contemporary music.

The current version consists of the following exercises:

- Perfect Pitch
--- C, D, E
--- C, D, E, F, G
--- Full C scale

- Chords
--- Major/Minor
--- Simple chords
--- With inversions

- Scales
--- Basic
--- Diatonic modes
--- Advanced

Each exercise has two different modes:

1. Practice - Get infinite tries to identify the sound. Toggle on and off the visual cue for help.
2. Take a test - Get one shot to identify the sound. Your progress will be reflected in the bar of hearts. Try to beat your highscore!
