Part 2 of Kara Swisher's Interview on the Microsoft!/Yahoo! Integration
Kara's full interview is here.
Just when I was thinking about how dry the interview was, we got this...
GREG NELSON: ...It’s fun. Like as someone that has spent 15 years now, I just had my 15th anniversary a couple weeks ago…
BOOMTOWN: What do you get?
GREG NELSON: You get a big piece of glass.
BOOMTOWN: Really?
GREG NELSON: Yeah.
BOOMTOWN: Like a vase?
GREG NELSON: No, like a big monolith.
BOOMTOWN: Really?
GREG NELSON: Yes.
BOOMTOWN: Nice.
I don't have the 15 year monolith but I have the ten year one... behold the monolith. No dancing druids, but I did just celebrate my 11 year anniversary. Yes...eleven. My Microsoft career goes to eleven.

Congrats. I've only been able to stay at a company 10 years when it's one I've started. (I hope to make 11 at the end of this year, with the current company).Anonymous

Stewart - well played. Bill - The most I could handle before this was 2.5 years. There's something to be said for having challenging work! Probably what kept you engaged in your start-up. And here's to 11!
