SAP Portal Development Kit 2.0 for Microsoft .NET (PDK .NET) and SharePoint Portal Server

As a result of our recent blog entries, we received many questions about using the PDK for .NET to deploy .NET iViews to both SAP Enterprise Portal (now NetWeaver Portal) and to SharePoint Portal Server. This article explains how to develop iViews for NetWeaver Portal and how to use them as Web Part in Microsoft SharePoint Server without additional development effort. At the moment the Portal Development Kit 2.0 for Microsoft .NET is running with Visual Studio 2003 but a new version supporting Visual Studio 2005 will be released soon.
