The new Windows Hardware Developer Center launched this week with resources for hardware developers. I published (or retoasted, I should say) a new article on 3D game programming with Windows Touch. This was a really fun project that I worked on with Ian Backlund a little over a year ago to help developers integrate Windows Touch input into Direct3D games. If you like this project, or 3D programming projects, you might also want to check out Windows Touch 3D programming with Custom Gestures and Scene controls.
I have been continuing discussions about the Windows Developer Center and it's not clear what the right course of action currently is in terms of redesign. However, I will be working hard at acquiring and highlighting some great new content in the coming months.
