Yes Microsoft does develop software for Mac computers.  The relationship between Microsoft and Apple is "Complicated" (Facebook pun intended) and despite the commercials you see on TV I don't believe we'll ever really break up.  If you are a Mac user check out https://www.mactopia.com/ or www.microsoft.com/mac - same website - for hardware and software developed for Mac machines.
