Scanning to SharePoint Online in Office 365

You will need third party solution if your Multi-Function Printer (MFP) does not support scanning capability to Office365.

There is actually another option, which is to use the Mapped Drive to scan/upload the content to Office365.

You can map a drive letter on your desktop to the SharePoint Online site where you would like the scanned image to be saved.

    If you are looking for a third party solution to scan to SharePoint Online, I can recommend Udocx (www.udocx.com), a software as a service that in addition to one click scanning converts the files to fully searchable PDF/A documents and allows for automatic integration into workflows.Cheers

    Another option is our Scanning Enabler product https://store.office.com/scanning-enabler-WA104344296.aspx. Just navigate to the SharePoint Store and add the App.

    It's always great to find out people are actively searching for solutions in this area in order to fully utilize their SharePoint to the max.

    Definitely worth checking out, as it's available for On-Premise and Office 365.
