Comentarios

En Windows 2000 y versiones posteriores, el servicio WMI solicitará autenticación de nivel connect, mientras que en Windows XP y versiones posteriores solicitará autenticación de nivel de paquete. Si el cliente requiere una configuración de autenticación específica, esta propiedad se puede usar para controlar el nivel de autenticación en esta conexión determinada. Por ejemplo, la propiedad se puede establecer AuthenticationLevel.PacketPrivacy en si el cliente requiere que se cifre toda la comunicación.

Valor de propiedad

Nivel de autenticación COM que se usará para las operaciones de esta conexión. El valor predeterminado es AuthenticationLevel.Unchanged, que indica que el cliente usará el nivel de autenticación solicitado por el servidor, según el proceso de negociación DCOM estándar.
