TabItem.TabStripPlacement Property

Definition

Gets the tab strip placement.

public System.Windows.Controls.Dock TabStripPlacement { get; }

Property Value

One of the Dock values. The default is Top.

Examples

The following example shows how to retrieve TabStripPlacement information about a TabItem.

if(tabItem1.TabStripPlacement == Dock.Left)
  {
   btnPlacement.Content = "TabItems are placed on the left";
  }

Remarks

This property cannot be set. It gets its value from the TabControl.TabStripPlacement property of the parent TabControl.
