En el ejemplo de código siguiente se usa TextBox, una clase derivada, para crear un controlador de eventos para el TextChanged evento. El código del controlador de eventos restringe los datos a los números. Después de escribir texto en el control, el código determina si el texto especificado es un número. Si el texto no es un número, el código borra el texto del control y se muestra para MessageBox avisar al usuario de que solo se aceptan números. El ejemplo requiere que una Boolean variable denominada flag y un TextBox control denominado textBox1 se definan fuera de este método. En este ejemplo se muestra cómo usar una variable de marca para evitar un evento en cascada en el TextChanged evento.
