En la siguiente tabla se describen las asignaciones predeterminadas entre tipos de datos XML y los tipos Common Language Runtime (CLR).

Nota

Los prefijos xs y xdt se asignan a los identificadores URI de espacios de nombres https://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema y https://www.w3.org/2003/05/xpath-datatypes respectivamente.
