Batch groups (form)

Click System administration > Setup > Batch group.

Use this form to perform the following actions:

• Create new batch groups.

• Edit or delete existing batch groups.

• Assign batch groups to batch servers.

You might want to create batch groups for invoice printing, packing slip updates, packing slip printing, or production planning. You might also want to process certain types of batch tasks on certain servers. For example, you might have a specific server set up for printing reports.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview tab	View a list of all batch groups.
Batch servers tab	View or change the list of batch servers on which the selected group can run.

Fields

Field	Description
Group	Enter up to 10 characters for the batch group name.
Description	Enter up to a 30-character extended description of the batch group.
Selected servers	Displays the list of servers on which the selected batch group can run. Use the arrow buttons to add or remove servers from the list.
Remaining servers	Displays the list of available batch servers. Use the arrow buttons to add or remove servers from the list.
