Field

Description

Journal

Select the name of the journal to copy.

Description

Enter the description of the journal to copy.

Transaction date

Select the transaction date for copying journal lines.

Detail level

Select the detail level for copying journal lines by using the following options:

  • Journal lines – If you know that the inventory dimensions on the journal lines that you are copying are the same as in the inventory transactions.

  • Inventory transactions – If you are not sure whether the inventory dimensions on the journal lines that you are copying are exactly the same.

    Nota

If you select Inventory transactions, the new journal lines are copied directly from original journal lines. The copied inventory transactions have the same inventory dimensions as the original inventory transactions. Also, receipt inventory transactions are updated as Registered, and issue inventory transactions are updated as Reserved physical.

Return direction

Select this check box to move the To inventory dimensions to From inventory dimensions when creating journal lines.

Nota

When the Return direction check box is selected, the Storno check box is available for editing.

Storno

Select this check box to indicate a storno journal.

Automarking

Select this check box to enable marking or return lot IDs.

Nota

When you select the Storno check box, the Automarking check box is selected by default and cannot be modified. The inventory lot of the inventory transaction that is being copied is linked to a new storno transaction. This updates the inventory cost in the inventory storno transaction, and neither lot is recalculated during inventory closing.
