Click Project management and accounting > Setup > Prices > Sales price (expense).

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Sales prices group, click Expenses.

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > Project contracts. On the Action Pane, on the Project contract tab, in the Sales prices group, click Expenses.

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 or cumulative update 7 or later for AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project resources > Resources. On the Action Pane, on the Project resource tab, in the Maintain group, click Sales prices, and then click Sales price - expense.

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 or cumulative update 7 or later for AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project resources > Resource availability. On the Action Pane, on the Project resource tab, in the Maintain group, click Sales prices, and then click Sales price - expense.

Use this form to set up the sales prices per expense transaction.

You can set up a standard sales price for expense transactions, for a project category, or you can set up sales prices by worker number, by project number, by category, by transaction date, or any combination thereof.

The actual sales price, which is applied when an worker enters transactions in an expense journal, is the sales price with the highest level of detail. For example, if both a general and an worker-specific sales price are set up, the system selects the worker-specific sales price.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview tab	View the expense sales prices in the system. You can also create new sales prices by selecting the relevant values from the drop-down lists in the fields.
General tab	View the specific information on the active expense sales price.

Fields

Field	Description
Effective date	Enter a date to delimit the transactions included in the proposal.
Sales price model	Calculation method used for the price model.
Category	Cost category that the price is attached to.
Worker	Worker that the price applies to.
Project ID	Unique number that identifies the project.
Sales currency	Sales currency code applicable for the project.
Pricing	Select a sales price model option.
