Power Apps portals version 9.4.1.x is now available. This article describes the bug fixes and updates that are included in 9.4.1.x .

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues that are resolved/updated in this update.

Accessibility

  • Profile Page - Not able to close the tooltip near Change Email link with the help of esc key
  • Register Page - Role of Captcha Image is set as link instead of Image
  • Login Page - If user use tab key to navigate to register tab, screen reader announce "to activate Page press space bar". However no action happens when user press space bar.
  • Datetime Control - Date time format information is not presented to user. After this fix, placeholder text will be shown on datetime control by default which will provide the format information.
  • Advanced Form Progress Bar - Every node of the progress bar doesn't have an accessible name.
  • Lookup Control - Keyboard tab focus is moving to not actionable error message "No records to display" in lookup dialog.
  • Search Page - Screen reader is not announcing status message like "no result found" or how many results are found.
  • List Control - Screenreader announces unnecessary content after clicking on View Details button
  • Basic/Advanced Forms - Screen Readers announce "invalid entry" when no entry has been provided for required user input controls in scan mode
  • Datetime Control - Arrow Keys are not working Properly on Date Section.
  • Forgot Password Page - If a user hit "Send" without entering any email, an error is shown but it does not consist any link that is pointing to the field in error.
  • Forgot Password Page - Forgot password confirmation page does not have a first level heading.
  • Login Page - Screen reader does not announce Heading level for "Sign up with an invitation code".
  • Address Control - Address field is getting updated after keyboard user press escape key to collapse address pop up without pressing done button.

Functionality

  • Html Tags are shown in list control for annotation entity.
  • Choices Control - Control Reloads when user press enter to select an item
  • PCF - PCF controls configured on Basic form will not load when the "Auto Generate Steps From Tabs" in the form options is enabled.
  • Read WebAPI - WebAPI doesn't honor "self" permission to read user's own Contact record
  • Choices Control - Choices field marked as required is not honored in basic/advanced forms.
  • Read WebAPI - An error is thrown on fetching details on an appointment linked to contact records.
  • SameSite - When HTTP/SameSite/Default is set to Strict or Lax, Open id connect authentication providers stops working since samesite attribute is set to Strict/Lax on Nonce cookie as well. After this change, Samesite attribute on Nonce cookie will always be set to None even when the default is changed to Strict/Lax.
  • Choices Control - Selected Items disappear until user hovers over the choices field.
  • SharePoint Integration - SharePoint Integration on Portal stops working, if more than 10 tables are enabled for sharepoint integration in dataverse.
  • PWA Offline Mode - If the user is offline, then entity list doesn't show a proper error message.
  • Portal Runtime Editor - Child page template displays encoded text if someone changes Page Template name to contain multibyte characters.
  • Lookup Control Modal Dialog - Checkbox are hidden from rows if a selecetd record is unselected in modal dialog.
  • List Control - Choices field should not be shown as sortable since it doesn't allow sorting.
  • UI Issue - In Read only form, user is able to remove the value from datetime control by pressing delete key on keyboard.

Feature Enhancements

  • Option Set Data type is searchable in List Control.
  • Support added for array type of claims in Login Claims Mapping and Registration claims flow. After this change, an array claim will be aggregated into a single string with comma separated values and mapped to the field.
  • Added Support for local language translation in audio function of the CAPTCHA Control

This release also contains performance updates, security fixes, and improves overall reliability of Power Apps portals.
