SQLCurrentVersion Property

Notas
SQLCurrentVersion retrieves the version of a default instance of SQL Server from the Registry key setting in SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSSQLServer\CurrentVersion. The version is returned in the form 8.00.078 where 8 is the major version number, 00 is the minor version number, and 078 is the build number.
[!NOTA] If an application calls SQLCurrentVersion on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later" are returned.
