VinesGroupName Property

The VinesGroupName property specifies the Banyan Vines Net-Library group name on a computer running Microsoft SQL Server.

Notas

A group name is typically the name of a department within an organization (for example, ACCOUNTING). To set the VinesGroupName property, you must be a member of the sysadmin fixed server role.

Importante:
Setting the VinesGroupName property changes registry settings, and it should be used with caution.

[!NOTA] If an application calls VinesGroupName on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later" are returned.
