RpcList Property

The RpcList property returns a Microsoft Windows remote procedure call (RPC) protocol list.

Notas

The protocol list specifies which Net-Libraries (for example, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, or named pipes) on which SQL Server can listen. RPC protocol increases performance by eliminating much of the parameter processing and statement parsing done on the server.

To set the RpcList property, you must be a member of the sysadmin fixed server role.

Importante:
Setting the RpcList property changes registry settings, and it should be used with caution.

[!NOTA] If an application calls RpcList on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later" are returned.
