SqlStatement Element for EventClass/IndexSqlSchema (ADF)

Contains a Transact-SQL statement that creates a SQL Server index for the event table.

Sintaxis

        <IndexSqlSchema>
            <SqlStatement>

Data type

string, between 1 and 100,000 characters in length.

Default value

None.

Occurrence

Optional once or more per IndexSqlSchema element.

Updates

Can be added, deleted, and modified when updating the application.

Notas

Notification Services automatically creates indexes on the event ID and event batch ID, which improves vacuuming performance.

If you add, delete, or update an indexing SqlStatement element, updating the application deletes and re-creates the event class to which it corresponds. This includes dropping and re-creating the SQL Server tables and indexes used by this event class. Any data existing in the original SQL Server tables is permanently deleted.

Ejemplo

The following example shows a SqlStatement element that creates an index on the StockEvents table.
