FullTextPopulation Method
Esta característica se quitará en una versión futura de Microsoft SQL Server. Evite utilizar esta característica en nuevos trabajos de desarrollo y tenga previsto modificar las aplicaciones que actualmente la utilizan.
The FullTextPopulation method starts or stops Microsoft Search full-text table population, building the index supporting full-text queries on data maintained by Microsoft SQL Server .
Sintaxis
object.FullTextPopulation(Type)
Parts
object
Expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list.Type
Long integer that specifies a SQLDMO_FULLTEXT_POPULATE_ TYPE constant as described in Settings.
Prototype (C/C++)

Settings
Set Type using these values.
Constant |
Value |
Description |
---|---|---|
SQLDMOFullText_PopuFull |
0 |
Perform a full population of the of the table index to the full-text catalog. |

1 |
Perform an incremental population of the table index to the full-text catalog. |
SQLDMOFullText_PopuStop |
2 |
Stop full or incremental population of the table index to the full-text catalog. |
Notas
Setting the Type parameter to SQLDMOFullText_PopuFull results in a complete rebuild of the index. Setting Type to SQLDMOFullText_PopuInc causes FullTextPopulation to rescan the rows changed since the last full rebuild. The table must have a timestamp column to support the SQLDMOFullText_PopuInc setting.
Use the FullTextPopulateStatus property to determine the current status of the full-text table population process.
[!NOTA]
Prior to setting FullTextTracking, you must add the catalog to the FullTextCatalogsCollection, and set IsFullTextEnabled to TRUE for the database.
[!NOTA]
If an application calls FullTextPopulation on an instance of SQL Server version 7.0, the constant, SQLDMO_E_SQL80ONLY, and the message "This property or method requires Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later" are returned.
