ToolTask.GenerateFullPathToTool Method

Returns the fully qualified path to the executable file.

Remarks

This method returns the value of the ToolName property if the tool is located in the system path.

Examples

The following example creates a ToolTask that runs Ilasm.exe. The CommandLineBuilder, ToolLocationHelper, and TaskLoggingHelper classes are used to generate the information needed to run the task.
