Deployment Tools Technical Reference

There are several tools available to help you configure and deploy a Windows® operating system. The following topics provide technical details and descriptive information about each of the tools that are referenced in this documentation.

Windows Setup Technical Reference	Provides technical details about Windows Setup technology, including the command-line options that can be used with the program.
ImageX Technical Reference	Provides technical details about the ImageX command-line tool, including a description of the tool and the command-line syntax that can be used with the tool. This technical reference also describes the Windows Imaging (WIM) file format, and provides some instructions for using the tool.
Oobe.xml Technical Reference	Provides technical details about OOBE.xml and the settings that can be used in the OOBE.xml file.
