SMPProcessorAffinityMask Metabase Property
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
The SMPProcessorAffinityMask property configures the hexadecimal processor mask. The hexadecimal processor mask indicates to which CPU the worker processes in an application pool should be bound. Before this property takes affect, the SMPAffinitized Metabase Property must be set to true for the application pool.
Note
Do not set this property to zero. Doing so causes no SMP affinity to be configured, creating an error condition.
The metabase represents unlimited as the DWORD value of 4294967295 (0xFFFFFFFF); however, VBScript represents unlimited in hexadecimal format as &HFFFFFFFF. Previous versions of IIS represented unlimited as -1.
