Comentarios

En la mayoría de los casos, se recomienda obtener información de puntero a través del argumento de evento de los controladores de eventos de puntero en el marco de lenguaje elegido (aplicación de Windows con JavaScript, aplicación para UWP con C++, C#o Visual Basic o aplicación para UWP mediante DirectX con C++).

Si el argumento de evento no expone intrínsecamente los detalles del puntero requeridos por la aplicación, puede obtener acceso a los datos de puntero extendidos a través de los métodos GetCurrentPoint y GetIntermediatePoints de PointerRoutedEventArgs. Use estos métodos para especificar el contexto de los datos del puntero.

Los métodos estáticos PointerPoint , GetCurrentPoint y GetIntermediatePoints, siempre usan el contexto de la aplicación. La clase de datos de eventos PointerRoutedEventArgs se usa para estos eventos:

La entrada de mouse se asocia con un solo puntero que se asigna cuando se detecta por primera vez la entrada. Al hacer clic en un botón del mouse (izquierdo, rueda o derecho), se crea una asociación secundaria entre el puntero y ese botón a través del evento PointerPressed. El evento PointerReleased solo se desencadena cuando se libera ese mismo botón del mouse (no se puede asociar ningún otro botón con el puntero hasta que se complete este evento). Debido a esta asociación exclusiva, los clics de otros botones del mouse se enrutan a través del evento PointerMoved. Puede probar el estado del botón del mouse al controlar este evento, como se muestra en el ejemplo siguiente.

Los eventos específicos suelen tener información disponible en las distintas clases de puntero y dispositivo de puntero que solo son relevantes para ese evento. Por ejemplo, al controlar PointerWheelChanged, es posible que le interese MouseWheelDelta desde PointerPointProperties.
