Esquema de los contadores de rendimiento

Los proveedores de datos de rendimiento V2 se admiten en Windows Vista o versiones posteriores. Usan un . Archivo MAN (manifiesto de instrumentación XML) para definir el proveedor, los conjuntos de contadores y los contadores.

Nota:

Los manifiestos de instrumentación pueden contener información sobre los proveedores de Seguimiento de eventos para Windows (ETW) y los proveedores de contadores de rendimiento. En esta sección se describen los siguientes elementos y tipos que se usan en la counters sección de un manifiesto de instrumentación:

No use las localization secciones o stringTable del manifiesto de instrumentación para las cadenas de datos de rendimiento. En su lugar, especifique las cadenas como valores del atributo que está estableciendo.

Después de crear el manifiesto, use la herramienta CTRPP para validar el manifiesto y generar archivos de código () y de recursos (.h.rc) que se usarán en la compilación del proveedor.

Al instalar la aplicación, ejecute la herramientaLodCtr.exe con el /M: parámetro para instalar los contadores de rendimiento. La herramienta LodCtr.exe registrará la información necesaria en el Registro en HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\_V2Providers\{ProviderGuid}, incluida la ruta de acceso completa al binario que contiene los recursos de cadena para el proveedor (como se especifica en el applicationIdentity atributo del manifiesto).
