Valor de propiedad

Valor de EventLogEntryType que indica el tipo de entrada del evento. El valor predeterminado es Information.

Excepciones

La propiedad no tiene establecido un valor válido de EventLogEntryType.

Ejemplos

En el ejemplo de código siguiente se escribe una entrada de evento informativo y, a continuación, se reutiliza para EventInstance escribir una entrada para un evento de advertencia en un registro de eventos existente. En el ejemplo de código se usa el siguiente archivo de texto de mensaje integrado en la biblioteca de recursos EventLogMsgs.dll. Un archivo de texto de mensaje es el origen desde el que se crea el archivo de recursos del mensaje. Comentarios

Cada evento es de un solo tipo, que la aplicación indica cuando notifica el evento. El Visor de eventos usa el tipo de evento para determinar qué icono se mostrará en la vista de lista del registro de eventos.
