Obtiene o establece un valor que indica el tipo de validación que se realiza.

ValidationType

Uno de los valores de ValidationType. Si esta propiedad no está establecida, se usa el valor predeterminado ValidationType.Auto.

Excepciones

Establecimiento de la propiedad después de haber llamado a Read.

Comentarios

Nota

La XmlValidatingReader clase está obsoleta en .NET Framework 2.0. Puede crear una instancia de XmlReader validación mediante la XmlReaderSettings clase y el Create método . Para obtener más información, vea la sección Comentarios de la página de referencia de XmlReader.

Esta propiedad debe establecerse antes de la primera llamada a Read. Al establecer esta propiedad en ValidationType.None, se crea un lector que no valida.

Si se necesitan definiciones de tipo de documento (DTD) o esquemas externos para la validación, se usa .XmlResolver
